Spaces of Light (Third and Fourth Sessions)

Ever since its launch in 2010, Spaces of Light Photography Award attracted a large number of audience, and allowed them to learn about the prominent architectural structure of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, an iconic Islamic architecture masterpiece in the city of Abu Dhabi.

Over the span of four years, the award witnessed great improvement and progress in terms of its categories, conditions and technical standards, and was able to attract a large group of photography enthusiasts, both professionals and amateurs, from all around the world to enlist in the award. As due to the significance of photography, as an important mean of documentation in our contemporary life, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center's administration was keen on issuing a documentary book that displays the winning images in the third and fourth sessions of the award, as well as some of the other primary images selected by the judging panel.
